The purpose of this project is for you to develop full assessment tools for two different units of competency from www.training.gov.au. The assessment tool development process will involve planning the assessment with a stakeholder, drafting the tools, trialling the tools with stakeholders
and creating final versions of the tools. While it may be useful to look at examples of assessment tool documents from other RTO’s, you need to remember that the tools you are about to make need to be your own work, and only your work. You cannot use tools you have co-created with other people.

PART 1: Develop the assessment plan

Task: You must create an assessment plan for each of your chosen units of competency

For each unit of competency you are required to complete and submit an Assessment Plan. All fields in the template need to be addressed. Each assessment plan will focus on a formal assessment pathway (as opposed to an RPL/RCC assessment pathway).

There are sections throughout the assessment plan, which will require you to draw on the RTO’s policies and procedures (e.g. the organisational requirements).
