Task 1

Using Appendix 1 and the ACSF, determine the LLN skills levels forthe unit BSBWHS201 Contribute to health and safety of self and others, from the Business Training Package BSB

Task 2

1. Using the outcomes from Appendix 1 highlight the learner core skill levels in Appendix 2 that will require LLN support.
2. Choose two workers from Appendix 2 and complete Appendix 3. You will need one copy for each worker. Discuss two support strategies that you can use to close the identified LLN gaps for training and assessment. You can refer to the strategies in the learner guide to assist with this task. You must include access to and use of an LLN specialist as one of your strategies.

Task 3

• Develop and use an LLN pre-assessment tool to identify core skill levels of two separate learners (these can be colleagues or learners). You may use the LLN learners and the assessment tool that you used for Question 4 in Assessment 1 of this unit.
• Use the outcomes of Task 3a to develop two LLN support resources addressing two different core skills. These support resources should reflect your own training program or work placeneeds.

Support resources can include:

• worksheets
• handouts
• diagrams
• images

Include these resources as separate attach mentsto your portfolio.

Task 4

For this task you will need to identify and have access to a learner group. This group must be a minimum of two learners and different to those used in Tasks 1 and 2. However, they may be the same learners you used in Assessment 1 Question 4 for this unit. One of your support strategies must bethe use of an LLN specialist. Complete Appendix 4 (LLN Delivery an Assessment Strategy Plan) for each learner.

Task 5

Use the learner evaluation form 5a to gather feedback from the two learners on the LLN strategies used in Task 4.You can support low-level students by recording their verbal responses. Use Appendices 5b and 5cto summarise the feedback from your two learners.

Task 6

Complete a self-evaluation. Your discussion should include analysis of the feedback you gathered from the following activities:

• learners in Task 5
• consultation with colleagues and/or LLN specialist
• evaluation techniques you identified in Assessment 1 Question 12
• and your own critical reflection.
