Description 
This assignment is to create an annotated script and sound design for a short radio play or film  soundtrack. You need to write a short script, on a  fictional topic, that includes several scenes and occasional sounds in the script.  
You then create a sound design for the script. Note that a ‘sound design’ is a document describing  the sounds that would be recorded. You do not record nor mix any sound for this coursework.  You only create and submit a document containing your script and sound design. When the  marking scheme talks of ‘recording and mixing’ this is demonstrating your knowledge of  
those processes, not actually doing it.  
This is intended to be a SMALL assignment. It should not take you a long time to do if you have  learned and understood the material in the lectures and laboratories. 
Please note that your script must be original. You can retell an out of copyright fairy tale, but the  words must all be your own.  
Also note that this assignment will be marked only on your demonstration of knowledge from the  first 12 lectures and laboratories. Including material from later in the course is acceptable, but will  not improve your mark.  
Note that it’s possible that you will end up recording this script for your assignment 3. Hence you  may want to consider which sounds you will be able to record, and not write anything that includes  or requires sounds that you will not be able to record/create.
