According to Young and Kroth (2018), the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has placed some emphasis on primary care by allowing more flexibility in the use of funding for residency vacancies, creating loan repayment programs for primary care providers who agree to work in underser-ved areas, and funding the National Health Sen•ice Corps allowing primary care providers the ability to work in underserved areas. Medical schools and the American Medical Association would be stakeholders, as well, by promotional means by emphasizing the need for primary care. The biggest benefit would be financial incentive; we all know the phrase 'money talks.'
