The characterisation of buildings in terms of distribution, nature and likely behaviours of their occupants is important in the design of suitable and appropriate means of escape and essential to the development of evacuation models. 
You are employed as a fire safety engineer on a large design project for a Hotel building. You are asked to compile a review of information that could be used to characterise the particular occupancy. The task comprises 2 parts: 

Part A Carry out a literature review that could be used to characterize the occupants of the Hotel building with regard to: density, distribution, gender, age familiarity, mobility, affiliation, responsibility (the list is not exhaustive) 

Part B Review case studies of real fires which have occurred in hotels and other relevant material related to evacuation in this particular building type. 
You are required to analyse the information from the literature reviews to determine the physiological, psychological and environmental factors which influence behavior and their interaction. 
From the results of your analysis, develop action sequences/ behavioural rules which are deemed characteristic of the occupants in hotel buildings
