You will then develop a formal report examining the opportunities and challenges that could be associated with the commodity chain identified but with specific reference to its technologies, that is, the key opportunities that organisations in the supply chain can draw on and the key challenges they are likely to face, based on the nature of the particular commodity, and other components such as globalisation, technologies and international economic integration. You should focus on both the upstream or downstream elements of their supply chain, and can choose a technology or combination of technologies to address the different upstream/downstream activities.
