In this project we create a product with a companion app that allows for secure parcel delivery service in case the user is not available, it also doubles as a security system. We use an IoT enabled camera setup that allows the user to get notified on the arrival of a parcel. The app provides a live feed to the user using the camera system on demand, which streams encoded video data to the cloud and is enabled when it detects motion. The cloud based back-end systems determine what parcel has been delivered to the user based on recent purchase data. In the future we may extend the functionality of our project by adding a smartly locked delivery box that can automatically authenticate the delivery person to open the box based on the user's input.
