However, the uncontrolled expansion has contributed to an increase in cybersecurity attacks. It has contributed to data breaches and threatened the safety of the organization (Lee, 2020). The rate of a cybersecurity attacks is alarming. According to Symantec et al. (2021), around 5200 cybersecurity attacks occur per month. Around 78% of these attacks are attributed to IoT malware attacks and password attacks. Similarly, the report by Johns (2020) shows that around a quarter of business experience cyberattacks once a year. The most common attacks are phishing attacks and impersonation. Due to these types of breaches or attacks, around one in five companies end up losing their money, data or assets. Thus, the above data shows the frequency of cyberattacks and their consequences for the company. However, the positive trend is that companies and organizations have responded to these attacks and they have modified their IoT security strategies and regulations.

Purpose of the study:

The purpose of the study is to explore the perspective or opinion of managers regarding the risk or benefit of cybersecurity for business organizations. This will be explored using qualitative research design and the study will be conducted with managers from diverse types of organization in different research settings. The key objectives of the study are as follows:

• To analyse positive outcomes of cyber resilience strategies

• To recommend practices to implement effective cyber resilience strategies as per the services of the organization
