Highlights
There is a long-term music storage space in the human brain, and the stored vocabulary is easily recalled (Fonseca-Mora, 2000), and the musical ability of English learners affects English fluency (Brutten, Angelis, & Perkins, 1985). Rhythm and rhyme also help auditory memory and promote memory recall. Music has all linguistic elements such as rhyme, lyrics, and content, and the structure and rhythm of repetition stimulate vocabulary memory, making it an effective language acquisition tool (Murphey, 1992).
