What about the nature of time? How does that matter to us? Well, consider this — if time is a dimension of space, then all of time is laid out at once, including the future. If the future is already set, is free will possible? This is one of the ways in which the nature of time can affect how we understand ourselves, which in turn can affect how we live our lives.
