Task Description: Critique an organizational document or other artefact against negotiated assessment of quality assurance criteria. Use the discussion developed in position paper to discuss the document/text/policy. This task requires you to apply the literature and framing conceptual tools explored in position paper to a particular artefact. Deeply engage with a policy/ policy artefact from your context that relates to assessment or quality assurance.
You need to analyse the policy using an assessment/quality assurance framework that you develop for your context.
To achieve that you should:
1. Identify and discuss the policy, its purpose and how it is used
2. Then consider your context and choose 4/5 elements within your learning/teaching/administration position.
3. Then deconstruct the policy by taking one element at a time and seeking where the policy relates to the element.
4. Once you have evaluated the policy in terms of the elements you need to discuss your findings in light of what you have read. You MUST engage extensively with literature around your context and policy.
5. You will need to end your report with a strong conclusion about what this policy, readings and your context mean for the future.

Position Paper specifies what is important. And this assessment links with the position paper.
Are the policy present in policy document?
I’ve read the position paper and I think in this assessment it would be better if you can focus the policy framework for assessment or quality assurance in digital learning or e-learning in education sector.

Identify and discuss the policy document, its purpose and how and where it is used. (5 out of 60 marks)
The purpose of the policy and how and where it is used are clearly and critically identified. Choice of this policy is convincingly justified
Identify 4/5 critical concepts (including from Ass. 1) that relate to the policy document/artefact and the context in which it is used. (10 out of 60 marks)
Critical concepts and their scopes are comprehensively but concisely defined. Relevance of these concepts to the policy document context is clearly stated and logically justified
Use the critical concepts to develop a framework to critique the policy document. (15 out of 60 marks)
How each of the critical concepts will be used to critique the policy document is clearly and comprehensively described and justified. Structure of the framework is described and logically justified.
Discuss and evaluate the policy document using your framework and research literature. ( 15 out of 60 marks)
Evaluation of the policy document is systematic and insightful. Application of well-chosen research literature is integrated with analysis. Results are clearly summarised and synthesised.
Conclude by describing what this policy, readings and your context mean for the future. (15 out of 60 marks)
The implications of the evaluation for global learning futures are clearly, insightfully and imaginatively described, with consideration of diverse contexts and values.
