Task

 As reported by AIHW (2020), ‘The impact of diabetes varies among population groups, with rates being significantly higher among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as among non-Indigenous Australians.’

Students are required to:

• Complete a Venn Diagram to compare the demographic and health data profiles of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population, to data of non-Indigenous Australians
• Draw health risks and conclusions based on the comparison of the data and write a word response reflecting on the influence of social determinants of health for Indigenous Australians
