The paper will discuss the way that cybercriminal utilizes to detect phishing attacks. However, various kinds of machine learning approaches will be discussed in this paper that can prevent phishing attacks.

Aim
The aim of this project is to investigate the role of machine learning in cyber security to detect phishing emails and implement machine learning algorithms for the detection of phishing emails. A deep-learning based machine learning approach will be used in this research to detect phishing emails. The selected machine learning algorithms are capable of analysing complex patterns as well as relationships in data. The algorithm is also capable of achieving a high accuracy rate while minimizing the false negatives and false positives rate.
