Abstract

In recent years, social media such as Twitter has enabled people to share their opinions regarding elections. Social Media has given a stage to gather bulk amount of data from its various platforms. Nowadays people post their views publicly on social media platforms regarding various campaigns held in the country. Digitalization has brought the world closer to each other and easy to spread news or share thoughts with many others all around the world. Twitter is one of the strongest mediums were people share opinions regarding their election candidate etc. In this paper, we would be analysing real-time public sentiments towards the United States (US) presidential elections 2020 prediction. Upcoming Manifestations or news happening in the countries are often followed by large bursts on twitter, creating a unique chance to check the relation between expressed public opinions and different affairs. We would do sentiment analysis to explore how these events affect public opinion. In Addition, content analysis takes days or weeks to build up social media content through twitter traffic. The Entire traffic of twitter about the elections, conveying results immediately and continuously. It provides public, Politicians officials and researchers a new and timely perspective on the dynamics of politics procedure and the public’s sentiments. The proposed approach has effectively been deployed on millions of tweets to analyse country affair concerns of people to understand 2020 US presidential elections
