You are to create and submit a report proposing a new Digital Curation project within an organization of your choice. You should make use of evidence and examples to support your content, with accurate in-text citations and a reference list. You are encouraged to check the suitability of your selected organization/scope of your report with your tutor. You

should write from the point of view of a particular organization of your choice and from the perspective of a digital curation professional who has been given the task of leading a project with a small project team. The report should be targeted at senior managers who can be expected to have considerable knowledge and experience of the service.

Your report should have the following:

• Brief overview of the organisation and your selected Digital Curation initiative including the strategic need for your proposal within your selected organisation and analysis of the user communities highlighting particular target groups (30% of total mark. Approx 600 words)

• Information about the tools and mechanisms that will be used including reflection on their appropriateness (Approx 800 words)

• Reflections on how the institution will manage the introduction of the initiatives including reflection on opportunities and risks (Approx 400 words)

• Brief concluding section with recommendations (Approx 200 words)
