• You are a male worker at a community centre in a small town. A family has just settled in the area, having sought asylum from their non-English speaking country of origin. The mother and daughter from the family have been referred to your service for information on local services, including recommendations on health care providers. The mother appears very uncomfortable interacting with you, and avoids eye contact
