OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

The objective of this assignment is to critically evaluate trends, developments and critical issues in using Information systems.

TASK DETAILS

Firstly, you need to choose an industry where you have either worked previously, known previously, or are interested to work there in the future. 

Secondly, you are required to identify past and recent trends and critically evaluate those identified trends in terms of IS. 

Thirdly, you are required to identify future developments and critically evaluate those identified trends. 

Fourthly, you are also required to identify the future issues of that particular industry and investigate future issues that are relevant to the use of information systems. Finally, you will need to provide some recommendations. 

The breakdown of your assignment task is provided below: 

1. Choose an industry of your choice 

2. Identify and critically evaluate past and recent trends of the information systems in the selected industry. 

3. Identify and critically evaluate the past and current issues of the information system in the selected industry.

4. Identify and critically evaluate future developments and issues of the information systems in the selected industry.

5. Provide a summary, conclusion, and future work along with the list of references.

RESEARCH REPORT

Your report should be written using the blank conference template, which is available on Moodle (A MS word template with instructions on how it should be used). Remember to carefully cite using APA 6th, 7th referencing and reference all sources. The structure that your research report should follow is also explained in the template.

You must cite and reference at least 10 sources, 7 of which should be from peer reviewed conference proceedings or journal articles.
