You are required to produce an infographic based on the sociological readings plus your research on one of the following topics:
An infographic is a digital representation of complex information/ concepts that has been summaries and presented in an engaging visual way. (i.e., a digital poster). Note: make sure you read about the use of infographics in education to support your ideas on design and use
of your infographic in a school setting. You are required to use either Canva or Piktochart to design and create your infographic – they are free and user friendly (see links on moodle site). Both sites allow you to create a sharable URL, which you will need to add to the top of the written component of the Assessment 2. Canva and Piktochart are used in schools, with school students and are user friendly.
In the Essay your analysis should explicitly refer to your infographic with justification on:
Please note that you are asked to adopt a sociological perspective in this task and as such that psychological and medical issues e.g. ADHD, ASD students, and food
allergies, should be avoided. You are however encouraged to consider using your own knowledge and experiences of education setting: school, coaching, tutoring, tertiary education or similar to support your design ideas and written analysis. You will need to back up these ideas with relevant academic literature.
