This assessment is a presentation on a topic of your choice. This allows you a wide range of choice and a capacity to share ideas and knowledge from the broader mental health research literature

Presentation

Students are to prepare a presentation on any aspect of mental health that they are interested in. This can range from a brief exploration of an issue, diagnosis, or concept to something that comes from lived experience. Students will have ten minutes, so you must prioritise key points on the topic chosen in order to use this time well.

You will be required to prepare and deliver an engaging oral presentation to the class.

The presentation can be done using mediums eg. PowerPoint, Canva, Prezi etc.(make sure the presentation can be converted to a pdf). A reference list at the end of the presentation is essential. Please consider your attire for the presentation. Imagine this is your job interview, and you are presenting what area of mental health fascinates you. Creative engagement with the audience and non-reliance on reading notes will attract presentation marks.
