Construction is underway (2018-2020) to create accommodation for 5,000 households, plus an administration building, small airstrip, base hospital, communal/catering areas, school, water, power and sewage infrastructure and a deep water jetty.

Stage 2 Project Requirements:

Construction is also underway (2019-2020) to create five sustainable industries: agriculture, fisheries, hydro extension, pearl harvesting and tourism.

Stage 3 Project Requirements:

As a gift to the new nation of Utopia, Deloitte Australia has decided to provide AUD$2.5 million and the International Monetary Fund matching AUD$2.5 million to UNHCR for a recreational park for the sole use of Utopian citizens.
