In this assessment you work in teams of (ideally) 4 students as approved by the instructor. You must examine the ICT infrastructure for an organisation and perform an assessment of cybersecurity risks that the organisation faces. You must also review the organisation’s security policies and procedures. Further, you must make recommendations concerning:
 the security policies and procedures
 work-practices of the organisation
 measures to be undertaken to mitigate the identified risks
 a new security baseline for the organisation.
Be sure to provide references for any vendor-based or industry-body frameworks or resources you use in your analysis and responses to the following items.

Task 1.1 Assess Cybersecurity Risks
You must identify threats to and cybersecurity risks presented by:
 The ICT infrastructure
 ICT operational processes and practices
 The work practices and operations of the organisation’s staff
 Data and report storage practices and policies
 Change management and configuration management processes of the organisation.
Further, you must categorise and prioritise the threats and risks you have identified. You should present your findings in a suitable Risk Matrix format.

Task 1.2 Propose Responses for Each Risk Category and Item
For each of the risks and risk categories identified in Task 1.1 you must propose a suitable response;
 Mitigate
 Transfer
 Avoid
 Accept
Further, for each risk that you elect to Mitigate, Transfer or Avoid you must identify suitable plans, resources or measures to be adopted to address the risk.

Task 1.3 Develop Security Baseline

You must prepare a new security baseline for the organisation detailing:
 The process followed to determine the organisations security infrastructure baseline
 Guidelines for configuring and securing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and IPS/IDS devices
 Guidelines for configuring, securing and managing endpoint devices
 The practice of regular maintenance including patching, backups and vulnerability assessments
 Guidelines for changes to staff practice
 A proposed (high-level) incident response plan.
