INSTRUCTIONS  

Importing and JUnit Tests 

A template Eclipse project has been provided to you on iLearn. The project is stored within  WCOM1010_AssignmentTwo.zip which can be downloaded from the Assessments tab under  Assignment 1. Extract the project and import it into Eclipse. You are required to edit the DataEntry.java and Worksheet.java files. A breakdown of each java file is given below. 

To test your work open and run either the DataEntryTest.java or WorksheetTest.java files which are located in the doNotModify.tests package.  

After running one of the test files you will see tab open on the left of your screen labelled Junit. This  window will show you whether your methods are correct or incorrect. If your methods are incorrect you  may click the method within the JUnit window to view what test failed. You will also see your grade in  the Java Console. 

You should not edit any of the test files to forcefully approve your methods as your assignments will be  tested against a separate set of test cases.

A breakdown of DataEntry.java and Worksheet.java is given below. 

DataEntry.java (10 marks) 

This class represents a data entry within a worksheet. It has three instance variables: 1. row: the data entries row index. 

2. title: the data entries column index. 

3. value: the data stored within the entry. 

You are only required to complete the inRange method within this file. 

Worksheet.java (90 marks) 

This class represents a worksheet. It has two instance variables: 

1. data: an arraylist which contains all of the data entries. 

2. title: the name of the worksheet. 

You are required to complete the below methods. There are more detailed instructions on the  requirements of each method within the Worksheet.java file. 

1. get(int, int) [5 marks] 

2. set(int, int, double) [5 marks] 

3. indexOf(int, int) [5 marks] 

4. count(int, int, int, int) [5 marks]  

5. total(int, int, int, int) [5 marks] 

6. average(int, int, int, int) [5 marks] 

7. minRow() [5 marks] 

8. maxRow() [5 marks] 

9. minColumn() [6 marks] 

10.maxColumn() [5 marks] 

11.getDataByRow(int) [6 marks] 

12.getDataByColumn(int) [5 marks] 

13.replace(double,double) [5 marks] 

14.find(double) [5 marks] 

15.toString() [18 marks] 

All methods except toString will be marked automatically based on the JUnit test outcome. 

The toString method will be hand-marked by your teacher, however, instructions on manually testing  your toString method are provided below. 

Do not edit any of the method headers. 

You may create helper functions.

Further Testing 

At any time, you can test your solutions on sample datasets. The sample datasets are displayed in the  above image and are named workbookData.txt, worksheetData1.txt and worksheetData2.txt. 

To test your solutions using these datasets, open the doNotModify.clients package and run WorksheetClient.java. 

Running the WorksheetClient.java file should produce the below output. Please note that you will have  to zoom in on the below images as they have been scaled to fit within the margins of this document. 

If your project produces the above outputs, you will receive full marks for the toString method.
