You will compose TWO pieces of writing to be included in a portfolio of work about Module A. You must compose ONE piece of DISCURSIVE writing and ONE piece of IMAGINATIVE writing from the stimulus prompts below.

Part A: DISCURSIVE WRITING
Use one of the stimulus items below as the basis for a discursive piece of writing. You must use examples from texts you have studied in class to support your ideas.
Australia is a diverse place with diverse stories.
OR
Diverse voices in Australia have been ignored by society.
OR
Australian society has changed and become enriched due to the arrival of diverse people.

Part B: IMAGINATIVE WRITING
Use one of the stimulus items below as the basis for an imaginative piece of writing.
Imagine you are one of the characters/people/personas from one of the texts you have studied in Module A – We Are Australians. Write an imaginative piece of writing from their perspective about life in Australia.

Choose an aspect of the Australian identity and explore it imaginatively.
