Case Study: Some of the basic reasons which are seen are the poor communication which affects the differences in the personalities and the values. The communication effects and leads to the failure in the system. For example, the manager is reassigning the employee’s task to the other employee. Failure in communicating or making certain  incorrect assumptions for any person. The differences in the personalities and the different values lead to the difference in handling the generational gap. The major role one can play is through the understanding and communication, rather than working in the competitive environment which leads to the conflicts certainly. Being a part of the Graphic designing company, I was working on the different designs which were assigned to me by the company. For this, the work that has been provided to me by the company was mainly for the designing of posters, hoardings and flexes. On the other hand, one of my colleague, who was working with me on the same task and also he was senior to me in designing in marketing sector have not got enough appreciation from the senior manager. Because of this reason, he started treating differently with me. Along with this he started thinking that I am trying to gain his position, that was really annoying and he started using his seniority as his trump card. Along with this, I had a major breakdown when one of my designs were stolen by the other employees and sold to the other company by one of the internal employees. This led to a complete breakdown as I was clueless in the beginning and to keep my job continued, I had to find the culprit as I was very sure of my work and whether I shared the designs or not. The employment relational issues like the poor communication and the competitive factor could easily be highlighted in my case, as there were issues related to the working in the system and how my senior manager appraised me for my hard work. It is important to handle the employee relations and maintain all the possibilities of working together with better communication skills. (Thornthwaite, 2016). Questions:

  4. Ensure you demonstrate your sound understanding of the issue in general gained from your research and use this knowledge to analyse the specific incident you identified to provide recommendations for resolving the current situation and managing future occurrences.
  5. You recommendations need to be well justified and supported with literature.
