Workplace leader:

Rosemary started of as a Cadet within St John and worked her way up through by studying, training, and helping out in various ways that could improve her skills and knowledge as it is a para military organisation.
When Rosemary became of age, she started to do a leadership course where she became a Corporal, Sargent and then a cadet leader where she started playing an important role in her division by assisting in the planning and running of the youth program. As a Youth Leader she became more involved with developing annual training plans, managing the team, and delivering training sessions and fun activities. Rosemary also got more involved in providing support to the group/division’s members and parents, assist in the administrative running of the division plus ensuring that the group/division was functioning well.
Youth Leaders also have an opportunity to participate in training specific to their role through completing recognised training. Being a Youth Leader is also a great springboard for becoming an Officer or Manager of a group/division, not to mention giving you skills for life.
Once Rosemary became an officer, she took time of and went over seas for four years where she joined St John so that she could start a division up within a small town and using an old tin shed for training in.
People who have a strong understanding of their own behaviour, are able to influence others and are resilient when pursuing goals are well on their way to demonstrating strong leadership such as listening to and understand other people’s point of view.

manage ambiguity/be adaptable across complex or volatile situations.
Within the workplace leadership also comes down to relationships, being able to lead in an authentic way in building trust. Military Leader
In the ultimate sense, military leadership is not inherent; it depends upon traits that can be developed and upon the application of principles and techniques that can be learned. It is an art that can be acquired, developed, and practiced in varying ways by anyone that is properly motivated, possessing the mental and physical ability, also the moral integrity expected of a commissioned or non-commissioned officer. Developing this art is a continuing process.
The best leadership—whether in peacetime or war—is borne as a conscientious obligation to serve. In many business environs it is difficult to instil certain principles an values, to be set that makes leaders servants to their followers. In contrast, leaders who have operated in the crucibles common to military and other dangerous public service occupations tend to hold such values. Tie selflessness with the adaptive capacity, innovation, and flexibility demanded by dangerous contexts, and one can see the value of military leadership as a model for leaders in the private sector.

Religious Leader
Religious leaders are responsible for leading worship and providing guidance and instruction to members of their faith, sect or tribe. They are also responsible for any associated administrative duties.
