PART 1: RFP

• In a Group of 5 develop an RFP for the research topic. The RFP should include:

The RFP must include the following elements:
1/ TITLE PAGE
• Student name and ID #
• Professor’s Name
• RFP Title
2/ INTRODUCTION (~ 100 words). 2 Marks
• Description of the topic (A small literature review on the topic)
• Importance of the topic (Back it up with data)
3/ Research Question (~40 words) 2 Marks
• Describe the issues pertinent to this research. Write down in one sentence: The research question.
• The research question should be developed by analyzing the background of the issue.
4/ OBJECTIVES: (~60 – 70 words) 3 Marks
Develop at least 3 research objectives for the topic. Describe the intelligence you want to generate from the research. You may want to anchor statements with questions for clarification purposes.
5/ METHODOLOGY (Not more than 100 words) 3 Marks
Consider how you think the research should be conducted.
• Describe the target(s) for the research.
• Identify main topics / issues you wished explored with respondents.

Write a short and friendly “Introduction” that respondents will read after opening the survey. Make the exercise sound important. Respect their time and anonymity.
2/ Questionnaire (Questions only) 8 Marks
• Design approximately 15-25 questions. Consider proper flow.
• Demonstrate various types of questions (e.g., closed ended questions, scale questions, open-ended questions, etc.).
• Collect demographic data.
• Consider collecting attitudinal / psychographics, behavioural, etc. elements.
• Use at least one “skip pattern”.
• Collect at minimum 30 responses for this survey
