The method is not to be written out in full (as students worked through the steps), just include a reference to the procedure guide e.g. The method was completed as per the procedure guide (Fudge 2021, pp. ## - ##) and then add in a reference list with the complete reference to the procedure at the end.
Only note if anything was done differently to the method in the procedure guide i.e. 10 drops added not 2 etc.

You need 6-8 expected observations in the observations section (as dot points).
Use things you see in the videos or your imagination of what you'd expect to see/smell/hear/notice/anything unusual that happened or something that might be good to notice/observe that could interfere with the final results.

Add a table or notes of your raw data, e.g. the data/information/values/pictures/sketches/images of the results that you obtained and wrote down or drew from the practical. Present them clearly labelling any figures/tables with a clear and useful title and number i.e. Figure 1: Blah. Refer to any images or figures in your discussion.
Use your own data from the experiment you choose (if you completed in person as internal students). External students can use either of the sample data sets provided (or your result if you attend a lab in-person).

Discussion:
The discussion section needs to be (at a minimum) a decent set of 3-4 paragraphs ~500-800 words discussing your results/calculations/the experiment and including the numerical results obtained from the calculations, if there are any. Explain your results from the experiment and analyse what those results show or mean referring to the aim(s) as needed. Use the procedure introduction notes to also help understand the practical.
Also think about errors that could occur and where the experiment could be improved upon in your discussion.

3. Were there any errors to think about and outline those possible errors,
4. How could the experiment be improved for next time? What could be done to make it better. Use the procedure notes and videos to help.

Conclusion:
~ 2 sentences explaining what the outcome of the experiment was.
The conclusion needs to include your numerical results and summarise your results obtained, whether the aim was achieved, and if there is a reason why the results may not be as expected. Again, do not use ‘I’ or ‘we’ in the writing style.
