Objectives
This experiment aims to work with yeast and to test how different variables affect the production of carbon dioxide (a product of yeast fermentation). Unlike previous experiments, you will have to make more decisions about your experiment and adjust the method to ensure you collect suitable data.
Procedure
1. Choose several food sources for testing and complete the list below. You will need a minimum of two sources additional to sucrose. Choose foods that may be expected to produce different results (not, for example, three different grades of white sugar such as sugar cubes or caster sugar). If you wish to test more than five sources simply extend the list.
